How I got started selling Flint River Ranch
I needed a new food for my own dogs...one that wouldn't give them cancer, and one that would eliminate some allergy problems. I already knew I wouldn't find that in a grocery store, feed store, pet store, or even from my vet. (I'd done my internet research!)
My research told me that Flint River Ranch was one of the ten top-rated pet foods. It contained no chemicals, no fillers, and nothing nasty. Just pure, clean, whole-food ingredients that were safe enough for humans to eat! And I could have it delivered right to my house! Wow! I ordered a 20-pound bag of "Puppy & Adult Kibble" and my dogs scarfed it up like it was candy.

So I started carrying a few bags of it in my shop, Manning Dog Training, in Yakima, Washington. I gave out small samples to my students. They loved it so much I couldn't keep enough in stock. Within three years I was selling nearly two tons a week off my shelves and off my internet website (an older version of this one).
So that's my story. Now I'm retired from dog-training (sort of), and my husband and I have relocated to northwestern Montana. The Flint River Ranch company has been around since 1993. They started in Riverside, California, and relocated it to Georgia a few years back. I'm just an independent distributor--one of thousands who sell the product. This allows the company to keep their costs down, since distributors like me do all the marketing for them...and we do it our own way. So THIS IS MY VERY OWN WEBSITE. When you order from this website, you order it from me, Jan Manning. I'm like an "Avon lady." The food comes to you from the company, but I receive a commission for making the sale and doing the paperwork.
There are probably hundreds of "Flint River Ranch websites," all of which are owned by independent distributors just like me. We all sell the same Flint River Ranch products for the same prices.
